Nancy Parrott - Inorganic Chemist and Lab Manager

Nancy ParrottNancy is our metals chemist and has been with us since September of 1997. We hired Nancy because she has a 23 year history of playing in the dirt! She began her career in 1976 at the University of Idahos College of Agriculture Analytical Lab after graduating from Washington State University with a Bachelor of Science degree. After nine years getting to know Palouse silt loam soils intimately, she moved to Western Washington and spent a brief, one-year stint teaching high school. The lure of the laboratory proved too great, and she returned to her roots literally this time adding plant pathology to her analytical list of labors. After seven years of getting to know woody ornamentals, Nancy expanded her soils background by going to work for geotechnical and engineering firms. She has now come full circle and is back at the bench serving your water and soil analytical needs.
